Marcia Guntzel Feldman is an exciting vocalist who has performed internationally at nightclubs, concerts, jazz festivals and private functions. She was nominated for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist in the 1995 Boston Music Awards. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music (Magna Cum Laude), she has appeared with Boston's finest musicians. From opening for the late Sarah Vaughan to playing concerts in Europe to singing at the Portsmouth Jazz Festival, Ms. Feldman delights audiences with her smooth vocal style and unique arrangements. She has released three recordings, her debut cassette "STAND UP", her jazz CD and cassette "Believe in Spring" and her healing CD and cassette "Hospice Music".

Marcia has a wide range of experience in the recording studio as producer, arranger, composer and vocalist. Her producing credits include "STAND UP", "Believe in Spring" and "Hospice Music" (Cool Biz Productions), "Home" (Stardust Melodies), "I'll Be Listening" (Big Noise Records), and "Music Box" (Spirit Music). She has experience as an administrator at Blue Hill Recordings and Spirit Music Inc., two independent record labels. Ms. Feldman performs on numberous albums and projects including the soundtrack for an episode of the PBS series "American Experience" for WGBH-TV.

She can be heard nationally on several jingles including Lighting Concepts, Volvo of Las Vegas, The Capital City Mall, Bed Masters and Jamies on the Square. Her radio interviews include SFB4 (Berlin, Germany), KCSM-FM (San Francisco), WGBH-FM (Boston) and KUMR-FM (Rolla, Missouri).

Ms. Feldman founded the Women Musicians Coalition, a peer group of professional female musicians in 1989. They presented a panel duscussion at the International Association of Jazz Educators national conference entitled, "Integrating Female Students into the Jazz Classroom".

Ms. Feldman held a private practice teaching voice from 1984 - 1990. She taught singing classes at The Children's Theatre Company (Mpls, MN), The Blue Heron Rookery (Rolla, MO), The School of Sound and Interface (Boston, MA).
